Update 2: Twenty four hours have passed since release day commenced on the west coast, and Earl Sweatshirt’s “I Don’t Like S**t, I Don’t Go Outside: An Album by Earl Sweatshirt” still holds #2 on the iTunes album sales chart.
Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp a Butterfly” remains positioned atop the chart.
The pre-order for Breaking Benjamin’s “Dark Before Dawn” has climbed into the #3 spot, while Action Bronson’s “Mr. Wonderful” is down to #4. The “Empire” soundtrack is at #5.
James Bay’s “Chaos and The Calm,” which joins the Sweatshirt and Bronson albums as the third new release in the Top 10, is listed at #9.

Update: Earl Sweatshirt’s new “I Don’t Like S**t, I Don’t Go Outside: An Album by Earl Sweatshirt” remains situated at #2–and thus one place below Kendrick Lamar’s chart-topping “To Pimp a Butterfly”–on the iTunes album sales chart.
Two of the week’s other newcomers, meanwhile, have steadily improved their positions. Action Bronson’s “Mr. Wonderful” is up to #3 on the chart, while James Bay’s “Chaos and the Calm” is up to #11.
=======================
Of the new albums that debuted on iTunes Monday, none is performing as well as Earl Sweatshirt’s “I Don’t Like S**t, I Don’t Go Outside: An Album by Earl Sweatshirt.”
The hip-hop artist’s sophomore studio release currently holds the #2 spot on iTunes. Behind only Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp a Butterfly” on the store’s album sales chart, “I Don’t Like S**t” possesses a comfortable advantage over the week’s other new entries.
As of press time, Action Bronson’s “Mr. Wonderful” is the next-highest-charting new release. It is currently listed at #8 on the iTunes albums chart.
One would have to drop below the Top 20 to find the next new release. James Bay’s “Chaos and the Calm,” that new album, holds the #21 spot.
