Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” Ranks as Top Pop, Hot AC Airplay Gainer

Radio presence continues to grow for Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do,” which this week ranks as the greatest airplay gainer at the pop and hot adult contemporary formats.

While its position on the Mediabase pop airplay chart does not change, its spin total enjoys another significant week-over-week gain. “Love Me Like You Do,” which holds the #6 spot on the pop radio airplay chart, received 13,729 plays during the March 15-21 tracking week. That bests last week’s count by a format-leading 1,942.

The song does, meanwhile, enjoy an impressive positional gain at Hot AC. Up four places this week, “Love Me Like You Do” grabs #5 on the strength of its 5,029 tracking week spins. That count bests last week’s by a format-leading 820.

The multi-format hit is also charting at adult contemporary (#15) and rhythmic (#37).

Other notable pop gainers include Jason Derulo’s #16 “Want to Want Me” (+1781), The Weeknd’s #18 “Earned It” (+1,672), Maroon 5’s #2 “Sugar” (+1,448) and Natalie La Rose’s #8 “Somebody (featuring Jeremih)” (+1,440).

Other notable Hot AC gainers include Andy Grammer’s #16 “Honey, I’m Good” (+421), Maroon 5’s #3 “Sugar” (+405), Walk the Moon’s #12 “Shut Up and Dance” (+404) and Nate Ruess’ #21 “Nothing Without Love” (+400).
