“Wonder Woman” is poised to repeat as the #1 film in America.

“Wonder Woman” outperformed new release “The Mummy” to earn first place at the US Friday Box Office.

The former added $15.8 million to its haul Friday, while the latter earned a disappointing $12.0 million in its first day.

Based on the Friday totals, “Wonder Woman” is on track for upwards of $50 million this weekend — and another box office crown. “The Mummy” will likely settle for a total in the $27-33 million range.

“Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie” took third place Friday with $3.6 million, while “Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” earned $3.0 million.

New release “It Comes At Night,” Friday’s #5 film, started with a soft $2.5 million.
