This week’s new albums launched on the US iTunes store late Thursday night, but none immediately displaced Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s “A Star Is Born” at #1 on the album sales chart.
Several albums did, however, quickly move toward the chart’s upper reaches.
TobyMac’s “The Elements” is #2 on the chart as of press time at 1:40AM ET Friday. Ella Mai’s “Ella Mai” directly follows at #3.
Young The Giant’s new “Mirror Master” (#4) and Eric Church’s “Desperate Man” (#5) complete the Top 5.
Twenty One Pilots’ “Trench” (#6), Atreyu’s new “In Our Wake” (#7), Colter Wall’s “Songs Of The Plains” (#8), Jess Glynne’s “Always In Between” (#9), and Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter V” (#10) form the balance of the Top 10.
