Bryson Tiller’s “True To Self” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart Following Surprise Release

Tiller released his new album four weeks ahead of schedule — and fans reacted enthusiastically.

Earlier this month, Bryson Tiller announced that his new album “True To Self” would be released on June 23.

He ended up releasing the album four weeks early.

Tiller’s album arrived — at a low $6.99 price point — late Thursday on the US iTunes store. It quickly shot to #1 on the store’s album sales chart.

There it sits as of 2:15AM ET.

Chris Stapleton’s “From A Room, Volume 1” is #2 on the chart, while “Guardians Of The Galaxy: Awesome Mix, Vol 2” is #3. Harry Styles’ self-titled album (#4) and Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN.” (#5) complete the Top 5.

Lil Yachty’s “Teenage Emotions” (#6), The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” (#7), Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” (#8), Linkin Park’s “One More Light” (#9), and Zac Brown Band’s “Welcome Home” (#10) also hold Top 10 positions.
