Meghan Trainor’s “Title” Album Reaches Double Platinum In The US

Meghan Trainor [ABC]

Meghan Trainor’s debut album “Title,” which fueled four multi-platinum radio singles, is now multi-platinum in its own right.

The RIAA crowned “Title” double platinum on May 27, 2016.

A double platinum distinction confirms a US unit total of at least 2 million. One unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

In terms of singles, “Title” spawned the 9x platinum “All About That Bass,” 4x platinum “Lips are Movin,” 2x platinum “Dear Future Husband,” and 2x platinum “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.” The title track is gold in the US.
