Justin Bieber’s “Believe” Certified 3X Platinum In The United States

Justin Bieber’s “Believe” has crossed into multi-platinum territory.

The 2012 album, which had been certified platinum through May 19, 2016, was bumped up to triple platinum on May 20, 2016.

The RIAA honor confirms a US unit total of 3 million. One unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

“Believe” follows “My World 2.0” and “Purpose” in becoming Bieber’s third triple-platinum album.

— In other Bieber news, his “Believe Acoustic” album has attained gold status (500,000 units).
