As reported in conjunction with the Jamal Crawford rumors, a key priority for the Portland Trailblazers right now is finding a more solid fixture at the point guard position. Raymond Felton has stepped up his game recently, but much of his run with the Blazers has been underwhelming.
And according to CSN NW, the Crawford trade indeed appears to be the best bet at strengthening the point guard position. The CSN report says that the Blazers have discussed shopping Felton to every team in the league, and the interest has been minimal.
There is reportedly one deal in place that would directly involve Felton, but it is apparently an underwhelming deal that would only be executed if things look particularly bleak in the team’s final two pre-deadline games.
(Update: Talk of Crawford moving has also cooled, however, due to a similarly-disappointing response from the market)
