Slipknot’s first studio album in nearly five years is attracting early enthusiasm from music buyers.
The album, which launched at midnight, is up to #1 on the US iTunes sales chart as of press time at 1AM ET Friday.
The “Descendants 3” soundtrack, which spent the past several days at #1, currently sits at #2 on the chart.
TOOL’s classic “Ænima” is #3, while Rick Ross’ new “Port Of Miami 2” occupies the #4 position. “Lateralus,” another Tool album, follows at #5.
TOOL also has the #6 (Undertow) and #7 (10,000 Days) albums on the all-genre chart.
