Pistol Annies’ first album in over five years is predictably resonating with US music buyers.
“Interstate Gospel,” said new album, soared to the top of the US iTunes sales chart shortly following its launch Thursday night. It remains in that position as of press time at 2:15AM ET.
“Interstate Gospel” is one of four newcomers at the top of the chart.
Kris Wu’s new “Antares” occupies the #2 position, while Barbra Streisand’s new “Walls” sits at #3. “The Throne,” the new release from Adam Calhoun, follows at #4.
Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s “A Star Is Born” soundtrack, the highest-ranking holdover on the chart, sits at #5.
Other albums currently in the Top 10: Andrea Bocelli’s “Si” (#6), Tenacious D’s “Post-Apocalypto” (#7), Swizz Beatz’s new “Poison” (#8), Pentatonix’s “Christmas Is Here!” (#9), and Lauren Daigle’s “Look Up Child” (#10).
