BTS member J-Hope released a solo mixtape entitled “Hope World” on March 2, 2018 (or March 1 in many markets).
It, predictably, reached #1 on the iTunes store in dozens of markets.
One such market is the United States, where it continues to occupy the pinnacle position as of press time at 1:50AM ET.
Its closest competition is coming from Tory Lanez’ “Memories Don’t Die.” The album shot to #2 upon its release late Thursday night.
The enduring soundtrack to “The Greatest Showman” is #3 on the chart, while Tech N9ne’s new “Planet” is #4. “Black Panther: The Album” follows at #5.
Imagine Dragons’ “Evolve” (#6), Mozzy’s new “Spiritual Conversations” EP (#7), Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” (#8), Vance Joy’s “Nation Of Two” (#9) and Prince’s “The Very Best Of Prince” (#10) form the balance of a Top 10 that is rather light on new releases (in comparison to typical Friday morning charts).
