Revised US Sales Projections Released For Eminem, G-Eazy Albums

New (lower) sales and consumption projections have arrived for Eminem’s “Revival” and G-Eazy’s “Beautiful & Damned.”

As we hit the middle of the December 15-21 tracking period, Eminem’s “Revival” and G-Eazy’s “The Beautiful & Damned” continue to trend as the week’s top two new albums.

Projections for their actual sales and consumption tallies have, however, been slightly tempered.

Hits Daily Double now expects “Revival” to sell 180-190,000 pure US copies this week. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should yield a first-week consumption tally in the 250-260,000 range.

“Revival” was initially trending for 190-210,000 in pure sales and 280-300,000 in total units.

G-Eazy’s album is now headed for 80-90,000 in sales and 130-140,000 in total units. The early projections called for a 85-95,000 in sales and 135-155,000 in units.

Despite the downward adjustment, “Revival” remains a safe beat for #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts. “Beautiful & Damned” will very likely debut at #2 on both listings.
