Chris Stapleton’s “Traveller” Album Reaches Double Platinum In US

Chris Stapleton’s breakthrough album “Traveller” is officially multi-platinum in the United States.

The album, for which sales erupted following Chris Stapleton’s show-stealing 2015 CMA Awards performance, garnered a double platinum honor on September 27, 2016.

The certification confirms 2 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

“Traveller” has also produced a platinum-certified single in “Tennessee Whiskey.”
