Hey Violet’s “Brand New Moves” EP Moves Into Top 5 On US iTunes Sales Chart

Hey Violet [FOX]

Following its release Tuesday, Hey Violet’s “Brand New Moves” EP made some major moves on the US iTunes album sales chart.

The $3.99 EP, which includes three versions of the title track as well as “Pure” and “Fuqboi,” went as high as #2 on the chart Tuesday afternoon.

As of 11:30PM ET, it is still impressively positioned at #4. Only “Suicide Squad: The Album” (#1), “Stranger Things, Volume 1” (#2) and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “P3” hold higher positions on the all-genre chart.

Hey Violet does not yet have notable radio exposure in the US, but it does have a passionate fanbase. That fanbase helped the band earn the “Choice Music: Next Big Thing” award at the Teen Choice 2016 ceremony.
