BuzzAngle: Beyonce’s “Lemonade” Drove 93 Million US Streams In Week Two

Beyonce’s “Lemonade” remained a streaming juggernaut in week two.

The album, which debuted with a then-record 115 million US streams in its abbreviated first week of release, generated what BuzzAngle Music reports as 93.2 million in its second week {Billboard’s data will differ slightly}.

The strong figure, made more impressive by virtue of the album’s TIDAL streaming exclusivity, ranks as one of the all-time best weekly streaming figures. It easily ranked as the April 29-May 6 tracking week’s second best, trailing only the ~250 million generated by Drake’s “Views.”

BuzzAngle adds that “Lemonade” sold 204K albums and 599K tracks during the most recent tracking period. Collectively, the activity will slot “Lemonade” at #2 on the Billboard 200 consumption chart.

Drake’s “Views,” obviously, will lead that chart.
