Twenty One Pilots’ “Blurryface” Surpasses 500K US Sales Mark

While the success of hit single “Stressed Out” has commanded significant attention, it is worth noting that twenty one pilots’ album “Blurryface” is also performing well.

This past week, “Blurryface” crossed the 500,000 US sales mark in the United States.

According to Nielsen Music, “Blurryface” sold an impressive 28,705 US copies during the December 11-17 tracking week.

Since the album had sold approximately 476,000 copies going into the tracking week, it now boasts a total in the neighborhood of 505,000.

“Blurryface” has not yet been formally certified gold, but in selling over 500,000 copies, the album is certainly eligible for such a certification. The RIAA’s gold album only requires a US shipment total of 500,000.
