Coldplay’s “A Head Full Of Dreams” US Sales Projection Raised To 190-200K

While its first week sales total will still markedly trail that of previous album “Ghost Stories,” Coldplay’s “A Head Full Of Dreams” is outpacing initial forecasts.

According to Hits Daily Double, “Dreams” is now on pace to shift 190-200,000 US copies during its first week of release. It was originally expected to sell 150-170,000.

In terms of pure sales, “A Head Full Of Dreams” will trail Adele’s “25” (~625-650,000) as the week’s second-best-selling album.

The aforementioned “Ghost Stories,” which launched in the spring of 2014, sold 383,000 first week US copies.
