Ellie Goulding’s “Delirium” entered the market in accordance with the November 6-12 tracking week.
According to Nielsen Music, the album sold 42,455 pure US copies during that seven-day tracking period.
The tally was enough for a #3 bow on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. The album trails Chris Stapleton’s “Traveller” (96,995) and Eric Church’s “Mr. Misunderstood” (58,312) on the listing.
“Halcyon,” Goulding’s previous release, sold 34,000 first-week copies in the US.
With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 unit) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 unit) added to its sales figure, “Delirium” posted a first-week consumption total of approximately 61,000 units. That positions the album at #3 (again behind the two country albums) on the Billboard 200.
