Responsible for a top ten–and still rising–country radio hit in “Love Me Like You Mean It,” Kelsea Ballerini’s debut studio album “The First Time” launched last Monday.

When its first week of availability came to a close, it had amassed a sales total of nearly 13,500.

According to Nielsen Music, Ballerini’s “The First Time” shifted 13,465 copies during the May 18-24 tracking week. A top 25 seller overall, it was the week’s 10th-best-selling new release.

Lead single “Love Me Like You Mean It” appears at #8 on the most recent editions of the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase country radio singles charts.
