The NBA Trade Deadline has passed, and barring the emergence of some unreported deals, the day went by without much in the way of excitement.
Dwight Howard notably confirmed his intention to stay with Orlando through next season, and rumored high-profile movers like LA’s Pau Gasol and the Celtics’ Paul Pierce and Ray Allen all stayed put. Even heavily-rumored mid-tier candidates like Jose Calderon, Chris Kaman, Jamal Crawford and Kirk Hinrich appear to have made it through the deadline untraded.
Of the deals confirmed Thursday, the closest thing to a marquee deal is a three-team swap involving the Denver Nuggets, Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Clippers.
