A showcase for Gracie Abrams’ refreshingly honest songwriting, exceptional flair for melody, and emotionally riveting vocal delivery, the “minor” EP was one of the 2020’s best music collections.
It has also proven quite popular with music fans. This week, the seven tracks had surpassed 100 million in combined Spotify streams.
By the end of April 5, the official Spotify figure stood at 100,024,640 million. “i miss you, i’m sorry” led the way with 41,839,113 streams, while fellow pre-release track “21” boasted 31,023,409.
“Friend,” which came into focus (and received meaningful Triple A radio play) following the EP’s release, has amassed 13,431,195.
The stellar EP also includes “Under / Over,” “tehe,” “Long Sleeves,” and “minor.”
Beyond the EP, Abrams’ official Spotify discography includes debut release “Mean It,” momentum-building “Stay,” and more recent releases “Brush Fire” and “Unlearn (with Benny Blanco).” All are superb windows into Abrams’ unique, authentic artistic vision.
