Early projections have emerged for Mariah Carey’s “Caution.”

According to Hits Daily Double, the diva’s first studio album since 2014 should sell 40-45K pure US copies this week. With units from track sales and streams included, it may generate 47-52K in total first-week consumption.

Projections for its specific chart ranking are unavailable at press time, but with those numbers, it would be in contention for a Top 10 bow on Billboard Top Album Sales and the Billboard 200.

“Caution” is the follow-up to “Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse,” which sold 58K pure copies in its first week. At the time, track sales and streams did not count toward the Billboard 200 albums chart.
