Early projections have emerged for the new Jack White album, and they suggest the album is set for a #1 debut.
Based on opening day data, Hits Daily Double expects White’s “Boarding House Reach” to sell 110-120,000 pure US copies this week. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should yield a first-week consumption total of 115-125,000.
Hits notes that the album’s pure sales tally is benefiting from a concert ticket/album bundle (redemptions count as sales) as well as other strong direct-to-consumer activity.
The pure sales total should be enough for #1 on Billboard Top Album Sales, while the consumption figure will likely earn “Boarding House Reach” #1 on the Billboard 200.
“Boarding House Reach” is White’s third solo album. His previous two releases also debuted at #1.
