Daya’s “Words” Receiving Pop Radio Airplay In Indy, Palm Springs, Las Vegas

The Artbeatz/RED team has yet to begin formally promoting a follow-up to Daya’s “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” but some pop stations are showing support for her song “Words.”

According to Mediabase, “Words” has begun to receive airplay in Indianapolis, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, and Burlington.

Indianapolis’ 99.5 WZPL played the song 16 times between October 26 and November 1. Palm Springs/Coachella Valley’s 97.7 KRCK played the song 9 times within that window, while Las Vegas’ 104.3 NOW and Burlington’s Planet 96.7 each offered 6 spins.

While “Sit Still, Look Pretty” has been removed from the pop airplay chart as a recurrent, it is still garnering substantial airplay at the format. It is still on the rise at hot adult contemporary.
