Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” Set to Retain #1 at Pop Radio, “Love Yourself” Headed for Top 15

By topping the past two Mediabase pop airplay charts, “Sorry” already established itself Bieber’s first multi-week #1.

It will extend its reign — and enhance that distinction — this week. “Sorry” is on pace to earn a third week atop the Mediabase pop listing.

“Sorry” received 15,778 plays during the first six days of the December 27-January 2 tracking week. While it trails last week’s mark by 3.5%, the count comfortably keeps “Sorry” atop the building Mediabase pop chart.

Its closest competition again comes from Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love.” The song, which received 15,063 spins during the tracking week’s first six days (-1.8%), will not catch “Sorry” this week.

— As “Sorry” retains its leadership position, Bieber’s follow-up single “Love Yourself” prepares for a move into the Top 15. Spun 6,604 times during the first six days of the tracking week (+10.2%), “Love Yourself” is #14 on the building chart. It will surely retain its Top 15 standing through the close of tracking on Saturday.

“Love Yourself” was #16 on last week’s chart.
