“Coco” Tops Third Another US Weekend Box Office

“Coco” continues its streak as US box office champion.

Again facing no competition from a new, wide release, “Coco” cruises to a third consecutive victory at the US weekend box office.

“Coco” added an estimated $18.3 million to its haul this weekend. The figure, which brings the film’s cumulative gross to $135.5 million, nearly doubles that of the #2 film.

“Justice League,” which holds at #2, earned another $9.6 million this weekend (cume now $212.1 million).

Credited with an estimated $8.5 million in weekend receipts (cume now $100.3 million), “Wonder” spends another weekend at #3.

“The Disaster Artist,” which expanded to 840 screens this weekend, takes #4 with $6.4 million (cume now $8.0 million). Its per-screen average of $7.7K is by far the best for any film in the Top 10.

Down one place, “Thor: Ragnarok” takes #5 with $6.3 million (cume now $301.2 million).
