Trey Songz’ “Trigga” Album Sales Pacing for 85-95K

The best selling album on iTunes will indeed reign as the best-selling new release this week.

According to Hits Daily Double, Trey Songz’ new “Trigga” is pacing for a first week sales total in the 85-95,000 range.

While that represents a sizable fall from the 135,000 moved by predecessor “Chapter V,” it more than doubles the anticipated sales total from the week’s next-biggest debut.

It also makes Songz a prime candidate to score the week’s overall #1 album. Ed Sheeran’s “x,” which will reign atop the Billboard 200 based on last week’s sales, is likely to fall below the 85-95,000 level this week.

Other debut releases this week include Seether’s “Isolate and Medicate” (tracking for 35-40,000), MAGIC!’s “Don’t Kill the Magic” (tracking for 27-32,000) and Robin Thicke’s “Paula” (tracking for 20-25,000).
