Nicki Minaj, Sia, Carly Rae Jepsen Reach Pop Radio’s Top 30

Nicki Minaj’s new single “The Night is Still Young” is officially inside the Top 40 at pop radio.

To celebrate that achievement, however, would be to sell the song’s early success short. The latest cut from her “The Pinkprint” vaults all the way into the Top 30 this week.

Up fourteen positions, “Night” earns #28 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart. Its Top 30 presence comes courtesy the ~2,248 spins it received during the May 3-9 tracking week.

Two other songs join “The Night is Still Young” (and Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea’s #23 “Pretty Girls”) in reaching this week’s Top 30.

Also new to the weekly Top 30 is Sia’s “Elastic Heart.” Up two places, “Heart” earns #29 on the strength of its ~2,082 weekly spins.

Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You,” meanwhile, rises three places to a new peak of #30. It received ~1,924 plays during the official tracking week.
