Linkin Park’s “The Emptiness Machine” Ranks As Top New Entry On Global, US Spotify Streaming Charts

The new single received nearly 6 million Global Spotify streams on its first full day of release.

Marking Linkin Park’s first new music in seven years — and first to feature new band members Emily Armstrong and Colin Britain — “The Emptiness Machine” enjoyed a big opening Friday on Spotify.

Credited with 5,840,075 streams, “The Emptiness Machine” earns #7 on the Global Spotify Streaming Chart for Friday, September 6.

The single, moreover, ranks as the chart’s top new entry.

“The Emptiness Machine” also secures the “top debut” honor in America, notching #12 on the US Spotify Streaming Chart. Linkin Park’s release garnered 1,284,219 Friday streams from US listeners.

“The Emptiness Machine” jumpstarts the campaign for Linkin Park’s new album “FROM ZERO,” due November 15.
