Shawn Mendes & Zedd’s “Lost In Japan” Ranks As Hot AC Radio’s Most Added Song

“Lost In Japan” predictably tops this week’s hot adult contemporary radio add board.

Shawn Mendes’ “Lost In Japan (featuring Zedd)” found a solid amount of opening week support at hot adult contemporary radio.

Picked up by 22 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations, “Lost In Japan” ranks as the format’s most added song.

“Lost In Japan” is the follow-up to Mendes’ “In My Blood,” which hit #1 at Hot AC radio.

Credited with 14 new pickups, Mike Posner’s “Song About You” takes second place on the add board.

Each added by 13 stations, Marshmello & Bastille’s “Happier” and Panic! At The Disco’s “High Hopes” tie for third. Ariana Grande’s “breathin” and LSD’s “Thunderclouds” tie for fifth; they won support from 11 stations.

This week’s other notable Hot AC options: Lukas Graham’s “Love Someone” (10 adds, 7th-most), Dean Lewis’ “Be Alright” (6 adds, 8th-most, tie), Whitney Woerz’s “Love Me Not” (6 adds, 8th-most, tie), and Post Malone’s “Better Now” (6 adds, 8th-most, tie).
