While it will not debut as well as the band’s previous album, Breaking Benjamin’s “Ember” will post good sales numbers by 2018 standards.

Based on opening day data, Hits Daily Double expects “Ember” to sell 77-81,000 pure US copies this week. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should yield an overall consumption tally of 82-87,000 first-week units.

“Ember” features the single “Red Cold River,” which hit #1 on the active rock radio chart last month.

The album is the follow-up to the band’s “Dark Before Dawn.” Released in June 2015, the album debuted with 135K pure sales and 141K total units.
