“The Shape Of Water” Named Best Picture At 90th Oscars

In total, “The Shape Of Water” took home four trophies at Sunday’s ceremony.

“The Shape Of Water” won Oscars for Best Production Design, Best Original Score and Best Director (Guillermo Del Toro) at the 90th Academy Awards.

It also won the biggest award of the night: Best Picture.

Guillermo Del Toro accepted the award as the clock struck 11:45PM ET.

“The Shape Of Water” beat out “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” “Call Me By Your Name,” “Get Out,” “Lady Bird,” “The Post,” “Dunkirk,” “Phantom Thread,” and “Darkest Hour” for the night’s biggest award.

Going into the show, oddsmakers pegged “The Shape Of Water” as second-most likely to win. “Three Billboards” was the narrow favorite.
