Luke Bryan’s new album “What Makes You Country” launched on the US iTunes store late Thursday night.
To the surprise of no one, it blasted to #1 on the store’s all-genre sales chart.
“What Makes You Country” holds that position as of press time at 2:30AM ET. Its closest competition comes from Chris Stapleton’s recently released “From A Room, Volume 2,” which spent the duration of this past week in the pinnacle position.
The number three position also belongs to a country album: Walker Hayes’ new “boom.”
The newly released “Greatest Showman” soundtrack follows at #4, while K. Michelle’s “KIMBERLY: The People I Used To Know” is #5.
Taylor Swift’s “reputation” (#6), Pentatonix’s “A Pentatonix Christmas (Deluxe)” (#7), U2’s “Songs Of Experience” (#8), Lindsey Stirling’s “Warmer In The Winter” (#9) and Big Sean & Metro Boomin’s new “Double Or Nothing” (#10) complete the Top 10.
