Interscope’s promo team recently added Jax Jones’ “Instruction (featuring Demi Lovato & Stefflon Don)” to its promotional pop radio playlist.
While the move does not confirm plans for a formal radio push, it suggests one might be coming.
Amid that development, some notable US pop stations have begun to play the song. One has already given it a considerable amount of support.
According to Mediabase, San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 played “Instruction” a whopping 46 times during the seven days ending August 10. It was the station’s 16th-most-played song for that period.
Other early supporters include Los Angeles’ 97.1 AMP (7 spins), Reno’s Alice 96.5 (6 spins), Radio Disney (3 spins), Biloxi’s 107.1 The Monkey (2 spins) and Green Bay/Appleton’s 95.9 Kiss (2 spins).
