In its latest year-end countdown chart, Spotify released a list of the most-streamed “nostalgia songs.”
The list covers songs from the 1950s to the 1990s, with Queen’s 1970s classic “Bohemian Rhapsody” coming in at #1.
The streaming service also issued a Top 10 list for each of the aforementioned decades. When it comes to the 1990s, Oasis’ “Wonderwall” is king.
The song, which is #2 on the overall list, takes #1 on the 1990s-specific list.
Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Californication” is #2, while Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” is #3. RHCP appears again at #4 courtesy “Under The Bridge,” while Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” takes #5.
Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” (#6), AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” (#7), Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.” (#8), Radiohead’s “Creep” (#9), and blink-182’s “All The Small Things” (#10) complete the Top 10.
