Luke Bryan’s “Move” Moves Up To #69 At Country Radio

While formal promotion has not yet started, rumblings suggest “Move” will be the fifth single from Luke Bryan’s “Kill The Lights.”

Those rumblings are supported by early airplay.

Up four places, Bryan’s “Move” ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s #69 song for the July 10-16 tracking week.

Mediabase ranks songs based on a proprietary points system** rather than raw spin count, but it is worth noting that “Move” received 115 spins from 13 stations during the aforementioned tracking period.

Assuming “Move” is the fifth single, it will enter the market with a very high bar for performance. “Kick The Dust Up,” “Strip It Down,” “Home Alone Tonight,” and “Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day” — the first four singles from “Kill The Lights” — all reached #1 at country radio.

**Unlike the other genre charts, Mediabase’s country listing is based on a proprietary scoring system. Spins receive specific point values based on the size of the market in which they were received.
