Chris Brown’s “Royalty,” Jeremih’s “Late Nights” Certified Gold In United States

While not yet added to the RIAA’s official website, two gold album certifications were recently issued.

The recipients of those certifications? Chris Brown’s “Royalty” and Jeremih’s “Late Nights: The Album.”

First reported by Billboard, the distinctions confirm US unit totals of at least 500,000. Under the revamped album certification terms, one unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales, or 1500 track streams.

“Late Nights” officially arrived on December 4, 2015. “Royalty” was released on December 18, 2015.
