While FOX News’ mammoth Republican debate coverage may not have specifically drawn viewers from the “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” fanbase, its presence certainly did not help matters.
Despite that presence, FX’s freshman comedy enjoyed a second consecutive (albeit slight) gain in the adult 18-49 demographic. It suffered a very narrow loss in viewership.
Thursday’s episode, which was the fourth of the show’s inaugural season, posted a 0.31 adults 18-49 rating with 701,000 total viewers. Last week’s episode posted a 0.29 with 703,000, which gave it the edge over the previous week’s 0.27 with 701,000.
The “S&D&R&R” stability did not extend to lead-out “Married.” The second season series once again slipped; this week’s episode managed a 0.19 with 401,000 viewers.
The previous week’s “Married” was good for a 0.20 with 465,000.
