Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” Retains #1 Spot at Rhythmic Radio

The threat of Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth)” looms, but this week’s Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart ultimately falls in favor of Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen.”

On the strength of the ~6,712 spins it received during the May 17-23 tracking week, “Trap Queen” holds at #1 on the rhythmic airplay chart. The soaring “See You Again,” which holds at #2, received ~6,624 spins during that seven day tracking period.

If both songs maintain their current paces, “See You Again” will leapfrog “Trap Queen” in time for next week’s chart. For now, however, the Fetty wap song reigns over the rhythmic format.

Omarion’s “Post to Be (featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko),” The Weeknd’s “Earned It” and Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” successively complete the top five.
