Ratings: Lifetime’s “Lizzie Borden Chronicles” Falls to Viewership Low

After enjoying two consecutive week-over-week ratings upticks, Lifetime’s “The Lizzie Borden Chronicles” took a sizable fall this week.

Sunday’s episode drew a 0.22 adults 18-49 rating with 581,000 total viewers. Both numbers trail those of the previous installment, which drew a 0.30 with 817,000 viewers.

The adults 18-49 rating ties the series low first posted on April 19, while the viewership total represents a new low mark for the series. Collectively, they establish this week’s episode as the worst-performing installment on record.

In opening so notably beneath the mark set by the 2014 movie “Lizzie Borden Took an Ax” (4.4 million total viewers), “The Lizzie Borden Chronicles” already produced a sense of disappointment. The fact that its audience has fallen by almost 50% since the premiere (1.14 million) only worsens the portrait.
