Last week, Carrie Underwood’s “Little Toy Guns” surged into the Top 20 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart but slipped out of the Top 20 on the corresponding Mediabase listing.
This week, it not only re-enters that portion of the Mediabase chart but ascends to a new peak.
Up four places this week, Underwood’s latest single earns the #17 spot on the official Mediabase country singles chart. The recipient of 3,539 tracking week spins (#17) and 28.021 audience impressions (#16), the rising “Little Toy Guns” bests last week’s counts by 308 spins and 2.492 million audience impressions, respectively.
Prior to last week’s setback, “Little Toy Guns” had gone as high as #20 on the official Mediabase chart.
While “Little Toy Guns” is returning to the Top 20 after a week off, two other songs reach that section of the chart for the first time.
— One of those new additions is Kelsea Ballerini’s “Love Me Like You Mean It.” Up four places as well, Ballerini’s breakthrough single reaches a new peak of #19 on the Mediabase chart.
The song boasts a weekly spin count of 3,546 (#18, +381 spins) and a weekly audience impression count of 24.545 million (#20, +3.700 million impressions).
— Like Carrie Underwood’s “Little Toy Guns,” Brad Paisley’s “Crushin’ It” reached the Top 20 on last week’s Billboard Country Airplay chart.
Like “Little Toy Guns,” “Crushin’ It” earns a place within the Top 20 of this week’s Mediabase chart. Paisley’s latest single rises two places to a new peak of #20.
Its weekly spin count registers at 3,383 (#20, +212 spins), while its audience impression count reaches a new peak of 25.942 million (#19, +2.654 million).
Note: Mediabase’s country chart is based on a scoring system that ascribes specific point values to spins from each market.
