Update: As noted last week, Monday’s “The Tonight Show” will feature interview guest Chris Rock and interview guest/musical guest Carrie Underwood. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who was originally advertised for the show, will now appear on Thursday’s edition.
==========
On December 1, late night television viewers interested in watching Carrie Underwood will have to settle for NBC’s encore broadcast of “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” The episode, which originally aired on October 27, features a brief interview with Underwood and her CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley.
On December 8, they will not have to “settle” whatsoever. Underwood, whose “Greatest Hits: Decade #1” ships that week, will serve as an interviewee and musical guest on a new edition of NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
NBC confirmed Underwood’s appearance in its latest round of “Tonight Show” listings. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will serve as the night’s lead interview guest.
