I LOVE MAKONNEN to Perform on Tuesday’s “The Tonight Show”

Not one to squander an obvious opportunity, NBC scheduled I LOVE MAKONNEN as its musical guest for the Tuesday, December 9 edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The act will surely–and fittingly–perform his breakthrough hit “Tuesday” on the show. Ricky Gervais and Steven Van Zandt are also booked for the episode.

After taking the latter half of this week off to celebrate the birth of his child, Fallon returns to host five original episodes next week. Carrie Underwood and Chris Rock (replacing Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, whose appearance has been moved to Thursday) kick things off on Monday, while Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Nealon will sit down with Fallon on Wednesday.

Dwayne Johnson, Barbara Walters and Rick Ross form the Thursday lineup; the guests for Friday’s show have yet to be revealed.
