Update: Republic’s radio promotions team is no longer advertising the 11/25 pop impact date for MisterWives’ “Reflections.”
While a pop crossover effort remains likely for the song, which is already a top 40 hit on both the Mediabase and Billboard alternative charts, it might not be coming as quickly as the label first reported.

It might have just scored a valuable placement on MTV’s “Faking It,” but for MisterWives’ “Reflections,” the ambition of becoming a multi-format hit is very real.
The song, which is currently #45 on Mediabase’s alternative airplay chart, will formally impact Top 40 radio later this month.
Republic recently confirmed that the song’s official pop format arrival is slated for November 25. In conjunction with that press note, the label boasted that influential pop station Sirius XM Hits 1 is already spinning the song several times daily.
The recent wave of buzz is spurring multi-faceted success for “Reflections.”
A rapid riser on Spotify, the track is also climbing the iTunes single sales chart. As of press time, it was up to #142 on the store’s all-genre listing. That position exceeds last week’s post-“Faking It” ranking by more than 30 places.
The official video, which is embedded below, has meanwhile garnered more than 960,000 since premiering on August 25, 2014.
In support of the effort, and the EP for which “Reflections” serves as the title track, MisterWives recently performed on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” That performance is also embedded below.
