Jimmy Fallon Debuts “House of Cue Cards” Parody on “Tonight Show”

With the annual Emmy Awards rapidly approaching, the time has come for Netflix’s buzzworthy original series “House of Cards” to re-enter the conversation.

And if there is an opportunity to add humor to that conversation, who better to contribute than the late night host behind gems like the “Glee” parody “6bee,” the “Downton Abbey” spoof “Downton Sixbey” and the “Breaking Bad” take “Joking Bad?”

Jimmy Fallon, that host, has seized the opportunity to offer comedic commentary on “House of Cards.” Tuesday’s edition of his “The Tonight Show” features the debut of parody “House of Cue Cards.”

Names like Ellen Barkin and Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter join Fallon in the effort to satirize the Netflix political drama.

In advance of Tuesday’s “Tonight Show” broadcast, which begins at 11:35PM ET, NBC shared production stills from the new “House of Cue Cards” sketch.

Those photos, plus those of musical guests Kings of Leon (with The Roots’ Questlove on drums), interview guests Rob Riggle and Mickey Rourke and the show’s attempt at the “Ice Bucket Challenge,” follow. A video of the “House of Cue Cards” segment is also included below.
