First Look: Jimmy “Neil Young” Fallon Joins Crosby, Stills and Nash

Last week, NBC confirmed the legendary trio Crosby, Stills and Nash as the musical act for the Monday, July 7 edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Given that he is not presently touring with them, Neil Young, who forms the final piece of the iconic CSNY brand when he occasionally plays with the group, was not included as part of the billing.

But insofar as “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon has earned raves for his Neil Young impression, the actual musician’s absence from the episode was obviously not going to put the kibosh on a televised Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young performance.

Per a photo from Monday’s taping, the performance did happen–with Fallon playing the part of Neil Young.

That photo, along with a shot of the separate Crosby, Stills and Nash performance, interview guest Kiefer Sutherland and interview guest Nicole Richie, follows. A video of the Crosby, Stills, Nash and “Young” performance is also featured below:
