Update: Like its lead-in “Arrow,” The CW’s “The 100” slipped by a tenth in the adults 18-49 ratings.
Wednesday’s “100” posted a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.90 million viewers. Down slightly from last week’s 0.7, it trails the March 19 premiere’s 0.9 by 33%.
“Arrow” posted a 0.8 with 2.34 million at 8PM.
========
While it still delivered a solid performance by the network’s standards, Wednesday’s edition of “The 100” once again slipped in the overnight ratings.
The episode, the series’ third, posted a 1.5 overnight household rating. The number trails last week’s 1.8 household rating, which trailed the 1.9 posted by the prior week’s premiere.
Last week’s 1.8 household number translated into a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating with 2.3 million viewers in the Nielsen finals.
Of potential relevance when discussing this week’s decline, however, is the fact that lead-in “Arrow” also slipped in the overnights. After posting a 2.1 last week, the sophomore series slipped to a 1.9 for this week’s edition.
Last week’s 2.1 household number became a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating with 2.7 million in the finals.
Given the occasional disconnect between household numbers and adults 18-49/viewership numbers for The CW, it is worth reserving judgment on both shows’ performances until the latter data comes out at 11:30AM.
