Neither Cyrus nor her “Bangerz Tour” are strangers to headlines, and the latest ropes fellow pop star Katy Perry into the mix. During Saturday’s “Bangerz” rendition of “Adore You,” Cyrus planted a kiss on the diva.
Now known for an endless parade of hits that includes “Teenage Dream,” “Roar” and “Dark Horse,” Perry broke onto the scene with her 2008 number one “I Kissed a Girl.”
Tonight, the girl she kissed was Miley Cyrus. And while societal transformation assures it will not make the waves Madonna and Britney’s kiss did a decade ago, it definitely caused a stir on social media.
