Thursday’s “Scandal,” which focused its procedural component around a bomb scare–and actual bombing–in the Capitol Building, improved on last week’s ratings.
Fueled by strong growth in its second half, the episode delivered a 3.3 adults 18-49 rating with 9.5 million viewers.
Last week’s telecast drew a 3.1 with 9.0 million viewers.
Though below the series high premiere level, “Scandal” continues to illustrate the extent to which it has become an attractive television destination. Last year’s comparable episode attracted a mere 1.9 with 6.2 million viewers.
With the bomb threat at its center, Thursday’s “Scandal” also continued teasing the scandalous “Operation Remington,” questioned why Jake was from the hole and featured a confrontation between Huck and “The Command” Eli Pope.
