CBS was not without its scheduling challenges this season, but as the most successful network, The Eye was left with far fewer vacancies ahead of upfront season. As a result, it could only bring a handful of new series into the mix.
Comedy highlights include Chuck Lorre’s heavily-hyped “Moms,” new “How I Met Your Mother” lead-out “We Are Men” and Robin Williams-starrer “The Crazy Ones.” Though recasting is underway for the Michael Rapaport and Mary Elizabeth Ellis roles, upcoming “The Big Bang Theory” lead-out “The Millers” has also been generating some buzz.
The fall’s lone dramatic addition is “Hostages;” series like “Intelligence” and “Reckless” are due at midseason, as is comedy “Friends with Better Lives.”
